Just wanted to let everyone know that our farmers markets are going to be starting soon.

Valley City Farmers Market

will be starting Saturday June 6, 2020

9 am to 12 pm

Brunswick Farmers Market

will be starting Sunday June 14, 2020

11 am to 2 pm

Brunswick Heritage Farm

Some of what we should have available at the start of the markets include:  Lots of vegetable and herb plants (tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, kale, kohlrabi, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, celery, parsley, peas, zucchini, summer squash, pie pumpkins, spaghetti squash, cucumbers, swiss chard, spinach, arugula, basil, thyme, wild oregano, greek oregano, marjoram, sage, feverfew, stevia, peanuts, carrots, and I am sure there is something else I am forgetting), breads, pasta, young garlic, and some time in June we will have lettuce, spinach, romaine, and mustard greens available.

Bruswick Farmers Market Pictures

This past Sunday I took some pictures at the market.  Here some of the pictures of our table at Brunswick Farmers Market.

 

You can get fresh cut herbs at the market!  Pineapple Mint, Chocolate Mint, Strawberry Mint, Chewing Gum Mint, Stevia, Oregano, Thyme, and more, are available to be fresh cut for you at the market.  You can not get any fresher than that!  Available only at Brunswick Farmers Market.

Well, we just had our last spring show this past Saturday, at Wadsworth Craft & Herb Festival.  We had lots of fun and it was a very good show.  A big thanks to everyone who stopped by.  Now it is going to be farmers market time!  I can not wait to see everyone from our farmers markets.

Market Pictures

Just thought I would do a quick post with some pictures I took today, of our table at Valley City Farmers Market.

 We will still be selling at Valley City Farmers Market till at least the first week of October, and some other vendors should be joining us also.  Hope to see everyone there!  Also we are still up at Brunswick Farmers Market till the Pumpkin Festival, which is on October 10th and 11th.

First Farmers Market of the Year

Yesterday (Saturday June 6th) was our first farmers market of the year at Valley City.  It feels so good to finally start going to the markets again.  Summer goes by way to fast and winter lasts too long.

We had plants (vegetables, dahlias, herbs), kale, mustard greens, scallions, and lots of lettuce.

You can come see us at Valley City Farmers Market from now thru October on 

Saturdays from 9am to 12 pm. 

 The market is located at:

Liverpool Township Depot, 6615 Center Road, Valley City, Ohio

It is now strawberry season at the market, so if you have a taste for fresh local strawberries, you will have to swing by the market soon and check out our fellow vendors.  You may also see other goodies such as bakery, cut flowers, plants, bird boxes, honey, rhubarb and more.

The above is as picture of our bean area, only one row is coming up, but the rest will be up soon.  In this area I have planted, Dragon Tongue Beans (my personal favorite, yellow with purple stripes), purple beans, yellow beans, Rattlesnake Beans (green with purple stripes), yard long beans (green and red), half runner beans, and Tongue of Fire Beans (Green with red stripes).  Wow, that is a lot of beans!  I hope every one likes and is ready for some beans!

2013 Farmers Markets

Just thought I would do a post about our three farmers markets that we are attending this year.  This year we are selling at Valley City Farmers Market on Saturday, Brunswick Farmers Market on Sunday, and Akron General Farmers Market on Tuesday.


Valley City Farmers Market
This is the 6th year that we have sold at Valley City Farmers Market.
It is on Saturday from 9am till noon and is located at Liverpool Township Depot

Brunswick Farmers Market
This is the first year for Brunswick Farmers Market, so it is still growing and every week there has been new vendors attend the market.
It is on Sunday from noon till 4pm and is located at the Brunswick Heritage Farm
4613 Laurel Road, Brunswick, Ohio

 

 Vendors at this market set up both outside of the barn and inside the barn.  Our first week at Brunswick Farmers Market we set up inside the barn but now we have been setting up outside.

Akron General Farmers Market
This is our first year at this market and I believe the 3rd year for the actual market.
It is on Tuesday from 3pm till 6 pm and is located at Akron General Medical Center
